You won't regret this paddle. First, props to YOLO's customer service for contacting me to confirm the length of the paddle (it was very helpful).

I bought this for a 100k race and it was well worth it. There ended up being 40-50 mph wind gusts that I had to go against for multiple long stretches, and I don't think my old paddle would've handled it well.

I ended up placing 1st and this padde helped tremendously..very pleased!

I've had my paddle since July 2022 and it is by far the best paddle I've ever owned. It's extremely light, quick, nimble, and can handle the most aggressive of my paddling. The foam grip has worn off so I removed the remnants of it but luckily the handle is also carbon fiber and is still comfortable to use. You'll usually find me in and around Crab Island and the East Pass/Harbor

I have one of these custom carbon fiber paddles in the widest option at the time (probably 4 years ago now). Had some troubles initially with getting the top handle to stay on the cut carbon fiber. However the staff at Miramar Beach shop[ took care of me, replaced one broken handle (Jeff- founder of YOLO even said he had never seen anything like it before), repaired the second one, still holding up to this day now 4 years later. This paddle works great- moves the most water- gives me a workout. It can be a little tricky on the windy days since if can catch more air if you forget to feather. Overall love this paddle and will happily buy another when my son is old enough to need his own
