Having owned many SUP boards this YOLO Explorer Hammerhead is by far the best one and most likely the last brand I’ll ever own.
We have several Hammerhead Yolo boards. We use as personal use but also rent them out in the Caribbean!! We only want YOLO. They are durable, light, easy to use. We have a lot of first time users. My sister tried paddling for the first time at age 70. She did great. I believe part of it is the stability of the YOLO board. Ryan McKenzie is the owner. He found paddle boarding to change his life in a positive way!!
Love my HH 11' Its great in the wind and chop and big enough for an extra rider too. I've had it for almost two years and its holding up well w kids riding and dragging it around daily.
It's a bit heavy surfing and controlling the board on small waves but thats what u get from a 27LB board when the waves get bigger its easier to drive
